My first non-fiction book is Where Science Meets God: 12 Ways Science Reinforces LDS Doctrine. I wrote this book, not to renew the science / religion debates again, but to help the non-technical reader to see how science and religion mesh together to best explain the Creation. On one hand, it can be difficult to interpret and explain ancient scripture in the light of new scientific findings. Not only the Creation, but Noah’s ark, Cain and Able, and other Genesis stories can be clarified by findings of science. In the end, scientific truths always support religious truths and can add to one’s testimony.
Where Science Meets God (pub July 2018) clarifies many of the discrepancies found between Genesis and science.
BACK COVER:
SCIENCE AND RELIGION are not mutually exclusive. In fact, an examination of the scientific principles behind scripture events and gospel teachings can actually enhance and strengthen our religious beliefs. Join scientist and scholar Scott Frazer as he uses modern scientific discoveries to reinforce doctrinal topics such as
• The Big Bang and the Creation of the Earth
• The Beginnings of Life and the Evolution Debate
• Noah’s Ark
• The Word of Wisdom Diet
• Authorship of the Bible—Who wrote it and
when?
• How Genetics Challenges our Definitions of
Mortal Life

My second book is Angry with God: Understanding the Rules of Earth Life. I wrote this book for Latter-day Saints who are angry with God either for the inequalities of this earth or due to a disaster that has occurred in their lives. The book explains that rules of earth life must be followed and enforced by our Heavenly Father. If the rules of earth life are ever broken, the creation was for naught.
Angry with God (pub April 2020) recognizes why people get angry at the tragedies in their lives. The grief is often too much to bear. Many people blame God, because they think He is all-powerful and able to divert tragedy on a whim. However, God simply cannot break the Rules of Earth Life. He set those rules in place and they protect Earth as a place to develop faith. Comprehending Earth life helps us see the need for these rules.
BACK COVER:
There are many people in the world who have been angry at God at some time in their lives. Whether due to loved ones who passed away before their time, personal crises that God did not resolve, or horrific world events, many religious faithful have questioned God's decision to not use His power to help them. By observing earth's history and its natural laws, we can better understand the rules inherent in the blueprint of Earth. Once we comprehend the basic rules of our mortal probation, we can then see how God must allow His children to suffer the consequences of their decisions. Miracles and other answers to prayers must be limited to allow the earth to remain a place of faith and learning.

My third book is titled Mentally Calm, Spiritually Connected: The Interdependence of Mind and Spirit. I wrote this book for church members who are experiencing mental depression and challenges - and don’t understand its effects on their spirituality. You are made up of your “heart, might, mind, strength, and soul” and they are interconnected. This book is to help you to understand how your mental health can affect your spiritual health.
Mentally Calm, Spiritually Connected (pub Feb. 2021) attempts to explain the effects of depression on our bodies and especially our spirits.
BACK COVER:
This book explains the space between spiritual health and mental health. Other books discuss one or the other, so generally Latter-day Saints who want to understand depression and their spirituality are left with no resource. I try to give the reader recent findings about their brains and definitions of their spiritual selves to help them connect the two and understand their feelings and unrest.

My latest non-fiction book is Be Ye Wise as Serpents (pub Sept 2023) examines the attacks on religion in general and the LDS faith in particular. Through podcasts, websites, and other social media outlets, there is an ongoing digital attack on the church and its actions. These attacks have been addressed many times before, but the attacks continue – and always will. Latter-day Saint parents, youth leaders, and other teachers should be familiar with these criticisms and the appropriate responses.
Be Ye Wise as Serpents (pub Sept 2023) helps us to understand that, though being doves is more comfortable, being a serpent is more important than ever. Faithful members need to understand these attacks on the church enough to respond to them. The church is losing members to nonsensical falsehoods. We need to be prepared to instruct our families and friends of the truth.
BACK COVER:
In the thought-provoking book Be Ye Wise as Serpents, Scott Frazer embarks on a journey that explores the intricate nuances of religious belief, rationality, and Church doctrine. Throughout the book, Scott Frazer dismantles logical fallacies, addresses the historical context of the Church of Jesus Christ, and tackles controversial subjects such as: women's suffrage, plural marriage, temples, and homosexuality. Be Ye Wise as Serpents explores the balance between reason and faith, and empowers readers to navigate the complexities of their religious beliefs with intellectual integrity and spiritual conviction.
One of the top philosophical questions ever asked has been, “Was the Universe Created for Mankind?” Many people think men are very prideful indeed who answer yes to this question. However, if you look at all the miracles behind each step of the creation, they start to pile up. Eventually even the most skeptical person is swayed by all the evidence. Thus, we can gather verifiable scientific data to show that there was a Creator, who was God. Having evidence for a provable bond between science and religion changes everything.
This book attempts to lay out some of the miracles behind the steps of the creation so the reader can understand this claim.
